Our third and final Designated Teacher network meeting for this academic year will be focusing on 'Understanding, Building and Sustaining Resilience'.
- Chatsworth House Bakewell DE45 1PP
- 14 - 15 June 2018
Exploring this topical concept and its relevance to the children you look after and your role as a Designated Teacher.
These meetings are for all Designated Teachers - you do not need to have a Child in Care in your school currently to attend the meetings or for them to be useful, as the role is a statutory position and it’s good for you to be ready.
As always this network is a forum for you to share ideas and good practice from your schools. The meetings are always well attended and lead to rich discussions about our roles and responsibilities, working with children and young people. Chatsworth House has generously offered to host these days in their brand new learning space a beautifully converted old potting shed. Further details will be sent out nearer the time to those who secure one of the limited places.
Two dates are available are: 14 and 15 June 2018, please note this is an all-day event. Both days contain the same content so you only need to book on one.
To book please contact the Virtual Schools team:

For those of you that are new to this role, please feel free to contact the Virtual School for any support you need.
