These two events will both take place on 25 May 2022. An online session from 10:30am to midday and an in person session from 1:30pm to 3pm held at County Hall, Matlock, DE4 3AG.
The relaunch event is organised to promote the role and purpose of the employee networks available within the Council. It is open to all employees, including current network members, non-members, those who are interested in joining or who would like to learn about the role of the networks and their purpose You will have the opportunity to meet the networks’ chairs and leads.
Schools’ employees are encouraged to attend, subject to them obtaining Headteacher/Line Manager approval, to learn more about what support networks can offer for those joining and types of initiatives they organise.
There will be an external guest speaker, Grace Moronfolu MBE, the current Chair of the CPS National Black Crown Prosecution Association - staff network of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) with over 500 members. Grace will share her perspective on the role and importance of employee networks in eliminating discrimination, improving the working environment and empowering people.
