The sessions provide guidance for Governors to enable them to support and challenge their schools and help improve the information security procedures in operation. The two and a half hour session, is fully interactive with updated activities, quizzes and practical information security tips.

Description

Homemade mince pies will be provided with the chance to win large cash prizes on the night.

Sessions run from 6pm to 8.30pm and include guidance on:

  • Auditing at schools and your role as a Governor.
  • The importance of internal controls.
  • Fraud and information security risk.
  • Cyber security and GDPR updates.

The event is free of charge (other than any local charges made by the hosting school) for all Derbyshire Maintained schools. A fee of £50 is payable for academies or schools outside of the County boundary.
