Updates on key issues and policies in safeguarding from the child protection manager for schools, educational settings and partner agencies.

The purpose of the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) forums is to give School Designated Safeguarding Leads regular contact and input from the Child Protection Manager for schools / educational settings. The forums are held twice yearly in the Autumn and Spring terms and cover a wealth of updates and information on key safeguarding issues which includes:

  • the latest information from DfE and Ofsted and have discussed implications for schools
  • presentations from partner agencies on high profile topics
  • essential information and updates from the Child Protection Manager for schools / educational settings
  • opportunity for networking and sharing good practice with table discussions on crucial issues facing schools in safeguarding matters.
