The ‘My Life My View’ emotional health and wellbeing survey is an online survey designed to assess the emotional health and wellbeing of young people in Derbyshire, along with the risk taking behaviours and protective factors associated with emotional health and wellbeing outcomes. The survey collects data on how young people are feeling and the types of behaviour they are engaged in, including; what young people are concerned about, who they speak to when they are worried, and, what behaviours young people engage in to help them feel well and able to cope.

The survey is commissioned by Public Health and delivered by the Schools Health Education Unit (SHEU), who will be in touch soon with details of how to access the 2022 survey.

In 2021 over 6,790 young people from 21 secondary schools in Derbyshire participated in the survey. The report is available online on the Derbyshire Observatory website My Life My View 2021 (derbyshire.gov.uk)

The 2021 findings have been discussed with partners to shape future service delivery. If you have taken part in the survey in previous years, thank you for your continued support.
