All secondary schools should, by now, have received a letter from our Director of Public Health, inviting you to take part in the 2023 wellbeing survey for Y8 to Y11 students.

My Life, My View is a confidential online survey of young people in years 8-11, designed to assess the emotional health and wellbeing of young people in Derbyshire.

We have already had the first wave of keen schools take part, and we hope you too will decide to run the survey in your school. The resulting data set will be stronger for all concerned, and your school will get a comparison report from the large sample, to inform your prevention and support work.

The 2023 ‘My Life My View’ emotional health and wellbeing survey is now live.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gather the voice of your students to gain insight into: what matters to them and to assess the emotional health and wellbeing of the young people in your school community. It will also provide insight into the risk-taking behaviours they are engaging with and what protective factors help keep them well and build their resilience.

We hope you can complete the survey before the end of term.

For further information or support please contact Dr David Regis:
email: david.regis@sheu.org.uk

The deadline for completion has been extended to 21 July 2023.

To give consistent results the students need to have been in school the two weeks prior to completing the survey.
