Social Stories are a social learning tool that supports the safe and meaningful exchange of information between parents, professionals, and people with autism of all ages.

They accurately describe context, skills, achievements, or concepts. Social Stories provide a patient and supportive quality with “voice” content and learning experience that is descriptive, meaningful, and physically, socially, and emotionally safe for the child, adolescent, or adult with autism.

Carol Gray was the founder and initiator of writing Social Stories.

The site gives you a depth of insight on what social stories are all about, how they can be used, instructing you and providing you with some of the tools to understand and construct social stories for children/young people with Autism and the people they live/work/enjoy time with.
