SAP will soon begin migrating to a secure, cloud-based platform as part of the Council’s wider programme to modernise and improve our systems and services.
This change will ensure SAP remains secure, resilient and up to date, and is better positioned to support future developments across the organisation.
The migration activity is planned to take place during the school holiday period to minimise any disruption to schools.
For school staff who use SAP, there is expected to be minimal impact on day-to-day activities. Existing processes and support arrangements will remain in place throughout the migration.
Further updates will be shared over the coming weeks, including key dates, what to expect during the transition, and any actions required from schools. The next communication will be issued ahead of the school summer break.
