Guidance from Derbyshire County Council regarding school meals including free school meals.

Derbyshire Catering service provides around 42,000 meals a day to nursery, infant, junior and secondary aged children, they are the largest education catering provider in Derbyshire.

All of their menus are created using the School Food Plan as set out by the government and adhere to strict nutritional guidelines, so you can be assured that the pupils at your school are receiving a high-quality meal.

The service runs their menus on a 3-week cycle which changes every 6 months, with new dishes and recipes being trialled by school catering teams and children before they are added to the new menu.
