The Pentrich and South Wingfield Revolution Group have commissioned education resources for KS2 pupils and KS3 students.
Both sets of resources will be sent to your school via the councils central mailing system in the next few days. Each envelope, which bears the groups distinctive logo, has an introductory letter and concise overview of The Pentrich Revolution of 1817.
The resources are all on a single USB the size of a credit card. For KS2 pupils they include a short film, a PowerPoint presentation of the 46 Pentrich Revolution paintings by local artists and comprehensive lesson plans. In the KS3 packs there is also a longer film with contributions from local historians
The Pentrich and South Wingfield Revolution Group can also offer support and advice to individual schools wishing to run a scheme of learning.
