Supporting the transition of young people moving into adult life.
We want young people to be prepared for adulthood by having a clear pathway through education into adulthood, including finding paid employment, living independently and participating in their community. Helping young people to prepare for adulthood is important and our aim is to:
- promote young people's aspirations and ambitions for the future
- focus on positive outcomes for young people as they move into adult life
- develop learning programmes to support young people preparing for adulthood
- have a smooth change from children's services to adult services
