Education Improvement Service Core Support Package 2026/2027

Basic subscription

Includes:

  • Real time data and Insight - access to Real time data and Insight through Perspective Lite
  • Resources - you will receive regular EIS Newsletter, as well as a range of resources available via Services for Schools
  • Telephone guidance support and signposting - access to specialist telephone and email advice and guidance from senior adviser and consultant team.    
  • Automatic discounts – receive a 10% discount across all Education Improvement scheduled training courses and events, and a £50 discount on our daily consultancy rate

Leadership support

Includes:

  • Termly leadership meetings
  • Supported self-evaluation - leadership discussion with senior adviser    
  • Headteacher induction programme – including one-to-one new leadership support visit with senior adviser and access to a comprehensive Induction programme

School improvement support

  • School improvement visits – school improvement visits are agreed through the local authority’s supported self‑evaluation process and aligned to the school’s priorities. Schools benefit from access to expertise across the Education Improvement team (link advisers, senior adviser, teaching and learning consultants and Early Years team) ensuring that the three visits are focused effectively on supporting improvement priorities for the year

Inspection support

Includes:

  • Pre-inspection visit
  • Telephone support throughout school inspection
  • LA telephone discussion with lead inspector during inspection
  • Inspection feedback - senior adviser attend feedback: in-person/virtually as appropriate
  • Ofsted updates and briefings
