Core Support offers a range of school improvement activities to support the leadership needs of schools and academies.
The full Core Support package includes:
- Access to a named Link Adviser for your school and three school improvement visits per year, which will be determined and agreed in-line with your school priorities and the local authority risk assessment process.
Potential activities for the visits include a school improvement review, a review of attainment and progress, joint self-evaluation activity or a self-evaluation form/summary assessment.
- Support during inspection.
You will receive telephone support from your Link Adviser during Ofsted inspections. This will typically take the form of a conversation between the Lead Inspector and your Link Adviser or the appropriate Senior Adviser.
- Full and instant access to the Governor Support service.
The Governor Support service includes access to strategic governor briefings, termly model agenda and briefing packs, information and advice, Clerks handbook, comprehensive resources and email and telephone support.
- Access to Termly Leadership Forums.
Throughout the year, you will receive access to our termly leadership forums (tailored for Secondary, Primary, Special Schools and Nurseries).
- Telephone advice, guidance and signposting.
Throughout the year, you will be able to receive specialist telephone advice and guidance from our advisers and consultants.
- Automatic discounts across all Education Improvement Service training courses and events.
You will automatically receive a discount across all Education Improvement Service scheduled training courses and events, as well as a discount on any additional consultancy.
