To comply with the Workplace Pension Reform Regulations, that require employers to re-enrol colleagues every three years who are not members of a pension scheme and who meet certain criteria, we will automatically re-enrol those colleagues with effect from 1 February 2025, which will mean that we will deduct pension contributions from their February pay.

If you are not currently a member of a pension scheme, you can join one if you are aged between 16 and 75.

Employees who are eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme can use the ‘pension option form’ which is available from the Derbyshire Pension Fund website.

Employees who are eligible to join the Teachers’ Pension scheme can get an ‘election to join the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (opting in)’ form which is available from the Teachers' Pension website. You can find this by using the search function on the website.
