New statutory requirements.

The Health and Wellbeing Consultants offer training, consultancy and advice on personal, social and health education. This includes the new statutory requirements for Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education

They can support primary and secondary settings with all aspects of PSHE, with specialist support around RSE, emotional well being and drug and alcohol education.

These subjects make a significant contribution to OFSTED judgements around ’Personal Development’ and also ‘Quality of Education’. Safeguarding education is also a key element of the curriculum which supports children and young people learning about risk and how to keep themselves safe.

A presentation from the PSHE Association explains developments in Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) and is aimed at PSHE leads, senior leadership teams, boards of governors and other colleagues. It covers practical steps to take, guidance to have in place and resources you can use.
