Anyone aged between 14 and 24 years old can do a programme at one of the 3 levels which, when successfully completed, lead to a bronze, silver or gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

At each level the participants complete activities, for the required time period, in volunteering, skill, physical, expedition and residential (gold only) sections.

Activity choices for the sections are diverse and extensive, enabling young people to follow an individual broad and balanced programme.

A Duke of Edinburgh centre can be set up in any school, college or organisation based in Derbyshire that provides for the young people of Derbyshire. The Derbyshire Duke of Edinburgh team are happy to come out to talk to headteachers or appointed or interested leaders to explain what is involved and the support that we can offer.
