Information regarding funding support for the purposes of risk management.
Funds are allocated on a priority basis and are subject to matching contribution from the school.
Previous projects have included security fencing, IT security measures and CCTV systems.
Decisions for allocation of funding will be based upon an assessment of need by the Risk Management Section, completed risk ranking surveys, cost-benefit analysis based upon claims and/or relative incidents.
When bidding for funds where many non-insurance related incidents have occurred, the school should consider submitting a log of the damage or nuisance caused. Any allocation of funding must ultimately be approved by cabinet members.
Any bids for funding should follow the bid guidelines and will only be considered if the risk ranking surveys have been completed on an annual basis.
